  • Conscious Kindness in a World that has yet to create space for Endometriosis.

You probably saying, what the heck it that? Well, I don’t blame you for not knowing.

It is an excruciating painful disease and there is no cure for it.

But first let’s start with some key facts:

• Prevalence: ~10% of women globally (WHO, 2023) – nearly 190 million individuals.

• Diagnosis delay: Average of 7–10 years from symptom onset to formal diagnosis (Endometriosis Foundation of America).

• Infertility: Up to 50% of women with infertility have endometriosis (American Society for Reproductive Medicine).

• Emotional impact: 2–3x increased risk of anxiety and depression (Journal of Psychosomatic Research, 2020).

• Economic cost: $22 billion in annual U.S. economic impact, including productivity loss and healthcare expenses (American Journal of Managed Care, 2012).

• Workplace burden: ~11 hours/week of lost productivity per individual (NIH).

Presenteeism: 63% higher rates among women with endo (CDC/NIH).

Endometriosis is personal to me.

Not just because I’ve lived it, but because I believe we can do better for those who do.

I don’t talk about endo to get sympathy.

I talk about it to build conscious kindness into how we lead, live, and support each other in this crazy, interesting, messy and yet beautiful World.

Because when a woman is told “it is just in your head…or Tough it up”

When a young girl misses school and no one asks why…

When pain becomes so normalized it gets ignored…

We lose more than trust, we lose wellness and our humanity.

My work is rooted in this truth:

We don’t need to understand someone’s pain to honor it.

We just need to choose curiosity over dismissal. Compassion over silence. Fake brand image over authenticity. Vulnerability over machismo.

This is conscious kindness.

And it’s what the endo community has been denied for far too long; visibility

So I’m here to lead, to teach, to shift perspectives and help build safe space, systems, and cultures that finally say:

“We see you. You matter. We don’t understand it. We’re listening. Where do we start?”

That’s what this is about.

Not awareness for the sake of buzzwords,

But awareness that becomes action.

Kindness that becomes policy.

Empathy that becomes power.
